Ian is a very experienced chairman and joined the group in 2018 as Chairman. He has been working in executive roles in the insurance industry for 25 years including blue chip including Eagle Star, BAT Financial Services and Zurich Financial Services. Ian has worked with private equity to support the development and growth of their portfolio businesses for the past 15 years.
Ian currently serves as chairman for Canopius Managing Agents and AllClear Group, having previously chaired Kingsbridge, A-Plan, 7im, Guardian Financial Services and Partnership Assurance. His previous board roles include Seven Investment Management, Resolution Life Companies, Unum Ltd, Liverpool Victoria, Endsleigh and AA Insurance.
